Brendan Rodgers starting eleven was always going to be interesting today. Was he going to field a team of fringe players or just hammer out a strong starting eleven?
The fact that this game is coming at the end of a winter break probably will play a huge part in his decision. All his squad need some game time after the break, if this game had come before Christmas when the Champions were playing 3 times a week we could have seen a very different starting eleven.
