Celtic booked their ticket into the Scottish Cup quarter-finals with a 0-2 win over St. Mirren today in a closely fought battle.
Hoops manager, Brendan Rodgers changed things up today against St. Miren by going 4-4-2. Both Adam Idah and Kyogo started up front in this Scottish Cup clash in Paisley.
With just a quarter of an hour gone Kyogo opened the scoring after Palma picked him out running into the box. Kyogo’s Japanese team mate Daizen Maeda scored a much needed cushion goal for the current cup holders and they held on for a clean sheet after some decent Joe Hart saves.
With the draw just made Celtic will now face Livi at Celtic park next.
