Celtic’s transfer business this January has left a lot of fans underwhelmed and concerned about the second half of the season with the lack of activity in and out of the club.
Celtic have so far made one signing this season when they signed German winger Nicolas Kuhn on a five-and-a-half-year deal. At the start of the transfer window, nobody was crying out for more wingers at the club.
The club need a striker, a left back and a new goalkeeper.
One signing that would please most fans is making loan signing Paulo Bernardo a permanent fixture at Paradise. The Portuguese midfielder has found some serious form in the last couple of months and Reo Hatate will have a real challenge moving Bernardo to the bench.
Apparently, a fee is already in place if Celtic should choose the option to buy, so why not get it done now?
