Celtic have spent the morning in a battle with Twitter security nerds after their account was shut down late last night. The club took to Facebook to vent their frustrations.

Well, in the last ten minutes a spokesperson for Twitter has come out and defended their actions.

“Maybe look at it from our point of view, it is early in the transfer window and Celtic are doing business. They spent 7 million quid on a defender FFS. Then at half ten last night, they start making noise about another 3 million pound signing AND it’s another defender. We use the most complicated algorithms to pick up any suspicious behaviour or pattern breaking and last night when Celtic announced another defender shit went off the charts. We stand by our decision.

Anyway, the new away kit is out today and the club has spent over ten million quid on two defenders so far, mental.
